Associate Dean, Grad Studies and Research | Professor
Tony provides leadership and coordination of the research support team. He is well-known for his research on business regulation and global governance, especially financial regulation, and has produced several books on these topics. He is currently working on a SSHRC-funded project entitled "Numbers in the Changing Fabric of Transnational Governance" and with the Globalization and Time research group, which is currently exploring the proliferation, in diverse settings, of references to the idea of resilience.
Research Support Facilitator and Knowledge Broker
Ailsa works with Social Sciences researchers to move knowledge between university and community and to support grant development. An experienced educator, project manager and grant-writer, Ailsa will: facilitate connections between researchers, community or industry partners, and to relevant McMaster offices (including ROADS, office of VP research, MILO) assist researchers with proposal development by facilitating communication with partners and assisting with project and budget planning providing tools and early-stage writing support to help researchers draft proposals and knowledge mobilization plans assisting with revisions based on feedback from the ROADS Senior Advisor

With experience in preparing applications for a range of grants and awards (SSHRC, CIHR, IDRC, HEQCO, MITACS, OHTN, LACREG, Killam), Chris can: manage the online grant application process, particularly for institutional and partnership grants assist with preparation of academic curriculum vitae for various applications assist with preparation of budget and budget justifications
