Daina Stanley, medical anthropologist, McMaster PhD Candidate and University of Ottawa lecturer, expands on her research of care and death in prison to the current pandemic. Calling attention to the complexities and inequalities of those currently in prisons, as well as those recently released, she highlights the harms of current public health approaches.
