Whether you’re unsure of your career path, have a vague idea, or have planned out the next five years – job shadowing is for you!

Sep 05, 2017

Career Placements give Social Sciences students the chance to answer that often heard question, “What can you do with a Social Sciences degree?”

If you don’t know where or how to start reaching out to professionals, Career Placements can connect you with the right people, build your resume, and help you to make more informed decisions about your future.

This year, through placements at the Canada Revenue Agency, students will interact with professionals from revenue collections, legislative policy and regulatory affairs and more.

At the North Hamilton Community Health Centre, students are able to experience health-related service and delivery in a diverse community and learn about careers such as occupational therapy, client advocacy and program facilitation.

Finally, job shadow right here at McMaster with Human Resources Services and experience employee career services, employee and labour relations, organizational development and more.

It’s never too early to take part! Experience Matters!
