Now Hiring: Social Sciences Talent Partnership Coordinator

A posting for a Talent Partnership Coordinator has gone up in the Social Sciences Careers & Experiential Education team.

Aug 22, 2022

A new job posting for a Talent Partnership Coordinator has been posted in the Social Sciences Careers & Experiential Education team. As a part of a plan to expand experiential learning opportunities, this new team member will help to develop and deepen relationships with employers and community partners in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.

The Careers & Experiential Education team is a unit within the Social Sciences Office of the Associate Dean Academic. Due to McMaster’s decentralized approach to work-integrated learning support, faculty-specific team members work closely with instructors, academic advisors, and other staff to support students with career exploration, experiential opportunities, and work-integrated learning opportunities such as internships and in-course placements.

“What’s exciting about this position is diversity of the relationships and placements we’re going to be cultivating,” says Mark Busser, Manager of Careers and Experiential Education and the hiring manager for the position. “Social Sciences students’ career journeys are multifaceted, so our new Talent Partnership Coordinator can expect to engage not only with large corporations and small businesses, but also with government agencies, community organizations, municipalities, and more.”

The posting is now available on McMaster's Mosaic system, available through the Current Opportunities section of the McMaster HR website.
