

About Learning in Colour
Emerging from ongoing partnerships with United in Colour and a research project documenting and narrativizing racialized students’ experiences in the classroom, Learning in Colour aims to consolidate information, resources and guidance for university community members regarding the cultivation of safer classroom and campus spaces informed by the experiences and narratives of Black, Indigenous, and racialized students. Explore the site and engage with its various mediums to enhance your understanding of how you can contribute to a safer learning environment for everyone!

Campus Classrooms
Campus Classroom Technologies (CCT) is responsible for the design, installation, and ongoing support of audio-visual equipment in all Registrar-controlled classrooms on campus. They can assist instructors Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 9:30pm and Fridays from 8:00am to 4:30pm in the Fall and Winter term.

Social Sciences Teaching Spaces
Teaching in LR Wilson classroom spaces? We’ve also developed a local video playlist of Faculty operated teaching spaces in LR Wilson Hall. Have a look ahead at what you can expect if you are set to teach in any of those spaces including the functionality of the Active Learning Classrooms (ALC).

Meeting Owl Resources
Meeting Owl devices are very versatile, portable, and make hybrid video conferencing possible in spaces where technology is limited regardless of software or platform. The devices work well in small meeting and seminar spaces when faced with hybrid in-person sessions where remote participants need to connect to a meeting or class and participate via conferencing software.
