Rooted in a community-based approach, the symposium provides valuable insight into the development of innovative research, highlighting the community-engaged research process from both perspectives – both academics and community partners.
“We have learned a lot from these partnerships over the past several years about how to innovate our approach to research, how to make our findings more accessible to community audiences, and what sorts of projects will have the greatest impact.”
- Marisa Young, ARMS Director
Hosted both at McMaster and CMHA Hamilton, the event features student showcases, community-led workshops and discussions facilitated by leading field experts.
The symposium will also provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about the exciting projects being developed in partnership with the CHMA. At the core of these initiatives is a deep commitment to development with partners like CMHA, ensuring the research conducted is informed by the populations ARMS is dedicated to helping.
