Homelessness: Where does one die when one has nothing?

Radio-Canada did a French-language interview with Amanda Grenier (Health, Aging and Society) for a story about palliative and other health care for aging homeless people.

While the problem of the aging of the homeless population is beginning to emerge, policies are still lacking. Gerontology researcher at McMaster University Amanda Grenier reviewed 42 homelessness strategies and only three in Quebec and one in Vancouver studied in depth the needs of homeless seniors. As for policies for seniors in general, the focus is on getting services at home. "Saying" staying at home the longest "is a challenge, because: what happens when you do not have a place to live? Asked Grenier.
