Important Tax Information for 2024

Tax season has started, and HR has provided us with two important updates for the 2023 tax year (for filing in 2024).

T4/T4A Slips

McMaster T4 and T4A slips are now available for viewing and printing through the Employee Self Service module in Mosaic. Paper copies of T4 and T4A slips will not be mailed for the 2023 tax reporting year. T2200/T220S forms

CRA has retired the T2200S (simplified form) for claiming work from home expenses. Eligible home office expenses for 2023 must be claimed using the original T2200 form which must be initiated and completed by the employee. Further details are forthcoming from HR regarding usage of the T2200 forms.
