Call for action. Peaceful protest against Islamophobia

Mon., Jan. 30, at 6 p.m., Hamilton City Hall, peaceful protest of the rise of Islamophobia and racism

Jan 30, 2017

In response to the attempted Ban on Muslims in the USA by the current Trump administration, and the horrific murder of 5 Muslim people at a Mosque in Montreal, as students and as community members we are calling for an immediate community response to raise our voices against these atrocities.

In solidarity with our McMaster and Hamilton Muslim communities let us all join in peaceful protest of the rise of Islamophobia and racism at Hamilton City Hall Monday, January 30, at 6 pm. This protest will coincide with the peaceful protest at the US consulate in Toronto.
Please come and stand for an hour in solidarity and support, with signs encouraged. Let us make it clear there is no place for this kind of violence or hate in Hamilton.
