Explore ways McMaster University can build understanding of Indigenous knowledge and community-led research at the Indigenous Research Symposium taking place on Wednesday November 23, 2016.

Speakers and panelists include:

  • Vanessa Watts, Indigenous Studies Acting Director
  • Chelsea Gable, Health, Aging and Society
  • Bonnie Freeman, School of Social Work
  • Randy Jackson, School of Social Work
  • Louise MacDonald, MacPherson Distinguished Scholar
  • Dawn Martin-Hill, MacPherson Chair
  • Indigenous Studies Program faculty, students, and community research partners

This event will also feature the book launch of In Divided Unity: Haudenosaunee Reclamation at Grand River by Theresa McCarthy, Cultural Anthropology, University of Buffalo.
