Master's of Economic Policy Program celebrates 10 years

Alumni of the Masters in Economic Policy Program were invited for an event in recognition of the 10th anniversary of the MAEP Program on May 22, 2015.

May 22, 2015

Over the past decade, the MAEP program has developed industry-leading economists with a solid knowledge of economics, skill in using economic ideas and a strong policy orientation. Graduates are primed with a foundation in policy development and evaluation and training for ‘real world’ activities. The objective of the program is to thrive on graduate-level technical training that has direct policy implications. This program leads to policy-analyst and policy-administrator employment.

Jeremiah Hurley, Ailsa Fullwood and Abigail Payne gave opening remarks. Alexandra Epp, Stefan Phipps-Burton, Tianjiao (Chloe) Xu, Jessica Ghansiam, Samir Mainuddin, Mohammad Rahman, Megan Beverley, Han (Adam) Li, Sean Bulger, Tyler Kroeker and Matthew Campo all gave presentations during the event.

There is continued excitement about the ever-growing interest in the program, dedication of the policy faculty and ongoing support and interest in the MAEP alumni.
