Biography
Supervisor: Dr. Lydia Kapiriri
I recently was awarded an MA in Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis for my research on the intersection of culture and mental health service utilization for newcomers to Canada.
My research interests include: immigrant and refugee mental health, service equity and accessibility for marginalized communities, racial health disparities and the medicalization of POC & their bodies.
I have supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities as an instructor therapist for several years and am now studying to write my exam to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
