Research and Supervisory Interests

I am interested in the social determinants of health and the impact they have on women; specifically, mothers.  My current research focuses on the impact of housing instability and homelessness on families with children who are affected by HIV.  I am particularly interested in highlighting how the intersecting issues of racism, sexism and poverty result in marginalizing HIV-positive women and their children.
