Biography

I am a recipient of the 2020 Erwin Schrödinger-Fellowship (postdoc fellowship), granted by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). In collaboration with my supervisors Dr. Lisa Kaida (McMaster University) and Dr. Feng Hou (Statistics Canada), I will engage in a postdoctoral research project on the subjective well-being of immigrants and refugees in Canada, titled “Well-being of Migrants in the Labor Market (WELLMIGLAB).” I will be analyzing Statistics Canada’s longitudinal and administrative data at the McMaster Research Data Centre (RDC). This project will be completed during my 12-month research stay in Canada as well as 6-month return phase in Austria (University of Salzburg).
