MA Colloquium
The MA Colloquium is a required part of the MA degree program that aims to give students an opportunity for colloquium-building both among one another and by providing an informal setting in which to interact with faculty members presenting their own research. Other sessions will likely include a presentation by a person from the research ethics board, career advice from a former graduate, professional development issues, and several dedicated to addressing preparation of the MRP as well as other matters likely to confront students as they complete the program. Structured as a series of seminars, the format will be open discussion following informal presentations by each week’s presenter(s).
