Jan 02, 2019

Ethnic minorities and indigenous peoples are gradually being elected and included in politics. Yet, we do not know enough of the best way to strengthen minority group rights, mitigate ethnic conflict, or improve the political representation of diverse groups. Over the next 4 years, the Ethnic Quota Project under the leadership of Dr. Netina Tan and Dr. Karen Bird will conduct fieldwork and build a Global Handbook of Ethnic Quotas of more than 40 countries in the world. If you interested in ethnic relations and different conflict resolution methods, apply to join this research project now! You will be offered methodological training and the opportunities to conduct field work in Asia, Europe, Africa or Latin America.

For more fellowship information, visit our Ethnic Quota Website and download the application instructions or contact Dr. Netina Tan: or Dr. Karen Bird: for more information.
