Graduate student conference on internationalization of public policy

The third McMaster graduate student conference on the internationalization of public policy took place on January 27-28.

Jan 27, 2014

Organised by a committee predominantly composed of graduate students, Mapping the Global Dimensions of Policy3, like its predecessor, was designed to bridge the gap between international relations and public policy, and between different disciplinary approaches to public policy.

Co-sponsored by the department of Political Science, Institute for Globalization and the Human Condition, Canada Research Chair in Public Policy and Globalization, the Global Health Program, Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis, Centre for Engineering and Public Policy and the Centre for Climate Change, the conference attracted over 100 registrants; 28 student papers from MA and PhD students (some involving multiple authors) from a variety of disciplines and institutions; 10 faculty discussants; and 4 guest speakers.
