Political Science student probes the politics of textbooks in today's Hamilton Spectator

Cassidy Bereskin, a Level II Political Science student and news editor at the Silhouette, had her analysis of the MSU's #TextbookBroke campaign published in the opinion pages of the Hamilton Spectator. In it, she discusses the possibilities and pitfalls of the current move to adopt Open Educational Resources. While embracing the potential of these resources, she calls for greater reflection about the implications for copyright and pedagogy.
