What happens to my Data and Analysis Results when I am done?

When your research project is complete, your data and any analysis work that you perform is retained on our server for 20 years at no cost to you. If you want to restart a research project or explore another facet of your data, everything will be available to you.

At some point in your research, you will have graphs, tables, regression results and other data that you would like to have transferred to you. You will not be able to transfer your results out of the SEAL Lab without going through the Lab Manager.

For security reasons, we have vetting rules that may limit what we can release to you. Usually, your research team will have established vetting requirements prior to starting research. These vetting requirements may have come from third party data suppliers, the Seal Lab (if you are using our data) or they may have been established by the research team.

It is important that you be familiar with the applicable vetting requirements because we do not want to disappoint you when you ask for results to be released and we are unable to release them.

Raw data cannot be released to any SEAL Lab client.
