The Hamilton Matters Fund

The Hamilton Matters Fund was created to offer students funding to participate in events and activities taking place in the City of Hamilton (and surrounding areas) that allow students to do one or more of the following:

  • Learn more about current issues in the City of Hamilton.
  • Think critically about how your experience in the City of Hamilton can provide you with a new perspective on the topics you are learning in class.
  • Reflect on how what you learn through your degree can contribute positively to the City of Hamilton.
  • Network with professionals and community members in the City of Hamilton.
  • Expand your interests and experiences as related to possible future careers.

Who is eligible to apply?

Activities offered through Careers & Experiential Education are available to undergraduate students who meet the main eligibility criteria listed on our website.
