Wishing Erin Baxter-Melo Success in Her New Role
Erin Baxter-Melo to Lead Marketing at Redeemer University
Erin Baxter-Melo, the esteemed communications manager within the Faculty of Social Sciences, will be leaving her role to pursue a new opportunity as the Director of Marketing at Redeemer University. Her last day with the Faculty will be January 24th, and she will begin her new position in February.
Erin joined the Faculty of Social Sciences as its inaugural communications manager in November 2019. Over the past five years, she has built a dedicated team of communications and marketing professionals, enhancing the Faculty’s internal and external communications, websites, and student recruitment efforts. Under her leadership, the team successfully operationalized a three-year strategic communications plan and experimented with various communication tools and platforms to share the stories and successes of the FSS community both within the Faculty and beyond the campus.
Erin has also been deeply involved in recruitment marketing initiatives with the CMPA and the Registrar’s Office, experiences that she will undoubtedly build upon in her new role at Redeemer University.
“We’re really going to miss Erin and all the skills, fresh perspectives, and talent she brought to the Faculty and CMPA,” said a colleague. “Her contributions have been invaluable, and we wish her all the best in her new role.”
While the recruitment process for her replacement is underway, Chris Pickles will step in as the Acting Manager of Marketing and Communications for the Faculty.
